"We Scream, We Swoon. How Dumb Can We Get?" Based on this Op-Ed piece written by a woman in the Washington Post. I am going to hazard a guess that we can get pretty fucking dumb indeed.

I know this 'chick'(she certainly wouldn't take offense to that characterization) probably only wrote this to get people to pay attention to her, so if I were being strategic I'd just ignore it. But hell, if she can say mean small-minded petty things in the Washington post and get away with it, then so can I...

The basic thesis here is that women are dumber then men, and that we should just get used to it, and perhaps even enjoy the fact that our stupidity leaves room for increased empathy and a razor sharp decorators touch.

Yeah, what I like to believe, and you'll forgive me if I sound insane (according to the columnist I have probably let emotions cloud my judgment and am being reactive and hysterical instead of incisive and critical as a man might be if put in the same position). Anyways, as I was saying, what I like to believe is that most statistics will prove whatever belief systems you happen to need them to prove.

If our poor columnist feels so insecure about her intelligence that she needs a few statistics to tell her "it's not you pinhead, it's your sex" then I guess, I understand. But respectfully, don't drag the rest of us down with you toots, we're too busy trying to keep our heads above water and succeed in a world primarily made up of half-wits and tools (many of whom who are still) trying to tell us we're not good enough. Even as we support them with our hard work, intellectual contributions and yes, emotional labour. Oh wait, you are one of the half-wits, I forgot, I'll stop criticizing you now, you might cry.
