Thanks jen, but really, you are not helping. I'm out here in the french alps looking desperately for news from my friends, and all I get is *random time-wasting web content*!!

there has to be something else going on other than it snowing.

by the way it is cold and snowy here, not much else going on - apart from the angry french people wandering around in 1-piece snow suits and ski boots.
