I am sitting in the next room and contemplating how to kill you... just kidding. I emailed it to people instead. You are way faster on the "post" button than I am, cherie. Perhaps that should be my New Year's resolution - develop an itchier blog-posting-trigger finger.

Truth be told, I'm addicted to your blog Flink and the blog less policy is making me take up drinking.
Ditto MK, your itchier finger may just save my half-pint soul.

hi maya, happy new year! you too, I love your blog as it permits me to immerse myself in your concise and elegant prose. I have resolved to quit drinking -- ok, only to quit drinking dirty gin martinis, and have so far made no blogging-type resolutions, except maybe to continue to post comments for the Flinkster.

Gracious, how did "defenestration" become No.10 in 2004? There thousands of people looking for an elegant word for throwing things out of the window? I never would have guessed. Besides, I thought defenestration meant removing all the windows, you know, like delousing.

hey,

I also scored as a cultural creative. I don't like that word. I think I prefer metropolitan believer.

I think the next step is to have a haiku with 2006
words contest

like;

contempt for refugees
of insipid tsunamis
lacks integrity

I know haikus don't have to rhyme...

ps: obviously I have not manged to stop blogging mes filles san fils don't you worry.
