Finally, in order to enter into a post-grad certificate program I am being required to take a college level algebra class. As my friend puts it - that's like drinking a big glass of hater-ade for breakfast every day. My teacher is a very cute russian masters student who refers to the two halves of a fractional equation as upstairs and downstairs. Aside from the little iron curtain of love in my heart for Professor Oksana, I am still scared shitless that, as with every math course I have ever taken, I am going to go down in a ball of blue flames.

The Popstart project has been a great success. Thanks to everyone who helped me and listened to me during hours spent wearing the cowboy hat of concentration.

I have been very briefly involved in making a site for Studio XX's touring version of feminist cyber-art fest Htmlles. That site can be found at http://www.htmlles.net/circulation/.

The real excitement however is this brand new project called Stealthiswebsite.org a web resource for activists and shit disturbers and hopefully a place where people can critically engage in discussion about the whole idea of resistance (to what? and when? and how is it most effective?)

Lauren Nurse, Logan Macdonald and I will be showing some new work at the Casa del Popolo during the month of February. The show is called "The Darkmark", which is a reference to the tattoos worn by Voldemorts followers in the Harry Potter books.

The vernissage is on Monday the 2nd from 8pm onwards bring your dancing shoes...Casa is located at 4873 boul. St-Laurent.
